Nana and Pat are inspiring artists living with their two sons, Aïto and Oïva in a beautiful century old house in Vevey, Switzerland.  

 

Both passionated collectors and art lovers, curious about everything from design, illustration, photography and board culture, they needed a big house to shelter their huge collection of treasures. Avid travelers, Nana who is Finish and Pat, Dutch met 15 years ago, fell in love and decided to settle and build their own world.

 

The idea was to create an inspiring ever changing home done with lots of ideas and little cash. It was important for them to privilege a great quality of life, to have an inspiring work environment and to live consciously.

 

The family house is a stylish home carefully curated with vintage founds, post war design and furnitures. You will find a heteroclit collection of Scandinavian, Italien and Swiss design mixed with childhood memories, exotic objects and personal artwork illuminated by an ever present splash of bold colors.

 

It was easy to furnish the house. Pat, after working years as a senior photographer and photo editor for "OnBoard Magazine Europe" decided to turn is long lived passion for wandering thrift stores into a full time activity and opened his first showroom « Cargo Cult » in the city.

 

Nana after studying design and fashion dedicate her time to illustration. Her blog and her poetic little alter ego « Nananen » attracted the attention of a big publisher in Finland and her first book is to be released now.
